Microsoft announced a preview version of the Office app that integrates Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on a smartphone.
The iOS version has already reached the limit of 10,000 users, and registration is over, but the Android version can be used by registering without a download limit.
In the newly announced Office app, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint were integrated into one. This allows you to organize all your office documents in one place, reducing the need to switch between multiple apps. In addition, it integrates import from an intuitive camera to shoot images with a smartphone camera and converts them to a word file at the push of a button, or converts the captured table into tabular data and inserts it into Excel. The new Office app also lets you create PDFs from photos on your smartphone or sign PDF documents with just your finger.
You don’t need to create a Microsoft account to use Office apps. However, when you log in to your account, you can access files stored in the cloud right away.
This preview version is only for smartphones, but it is expected to be available for tablets as well. In addition, it plans to continue supporting and investing in the existing mobile versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Related information can be found here .
