Slightly Mad Studios, which makes the Project Cars series of popular racing simulator games, has been acquired for $30 million by Codemasters working on the same racing simulator F1 series.
After debuting with EA’s popular game Need for Speed (Shift), Slightly Mad Studios, Test Drive (Ferrari Racing Legends), Project Cass, Red Bull Air Race (The Game) This is the place where the same works were presented. Currently, Project Cars 3 and the mobile version Project Cars Go are being developed, but the specific release date has not been disclosed.

Codemasters are using the Colin McRae Rally series and now the F1 series as their masterpieces. The F1 series is the only official game, and it is also a platform for the Formula 1 Esports Series, where the actual F1 teams form and participate in the national team.
With this acquisition, all SLitelyMad studio employees are said to be hired by Codemaster. It seems that it will not affect the game development system.
