AWS DeepComposer is an electronic keyboard that supports machine learning that Amazon announced during AWS re: Invent 2019, an event held in Las Vegas, USA on December 2. With this product, not only can you experience machine learning through music, but simply input a simple melody and AI creates music that combines several instruments.
At the actual presentation hall, AWS Product Strategy Manager Matt Wood performed, and AWS Deep Composer performed a rock-style hymn with accompaniment such as guitar, synthesizer, and drums. It took more than 10 seconds for Matt Wood to complete the input and the AI to generate the music.
The AWS Deep Composer is a 32-key two-octave MIDI keyboard. When playing music on the main body or connecting to a PC and inputting music through a virtual console, AI creates music using the hostile generation network GAN. Basically, we have pre-trained four models of classic, jazz, rock, and pop, but you can also learn the models yourself.
It is still unclear when the product will be released, but if you register on the official website, you can quickly get the release information. Related information can be found here .
